Hello! My name is Monique and I am a 23-year-old recent college grad (woo, Go Champlain College!). After 4 years in Burlington, Vermont for school, I am now back home in Maine, living with the parents to save up money… (Thanks Mom and Dad!)

Being that I am a recent grad, still trying to figure out what I want to do with my life, this blog will feature a lot of cheap/inexpensive DIY projects, like making cool jewelry holders, or $200+ bracelet for less than 5. I am in love with interior design, so there will be a lot of posts about that. I’m the proud pet parent of a 4.5 month old grey kitten named Charlie. I will talk a lot about him and post pictures of his adorableness for all of you to see.
This blog will also talk about my adventures in going from a child/young-adult/teen to a full-fledged adult with responsibilities! Follow along as I learn to cook, and figure out how to make myself and my space more grown-up.

Hola Monique! I’m reaching out to you because when you so kindly welcomed me to BBN, you also stated you can be contacted for any questions…well hope you meant it cuz I have a question. I’ve only been blogging for 3 months and am still learning as I go, a trial and error of sorts. What is your view on linking your blog with your Google+ account? Is it a Do or is it a Don’t? I know, I know I said a question and technically thats two questions…hope you don’t mind “/

Hmm. I don’t ever use Google +, it’s just not a network I ever really understood why it was beneficial for me to use.
I’m sure that linking your blog with it would be a good way for you to network with others and get the word out about your blog, so I feel like it could be good? Like I said, I’m not sure… but I’m sure if someone figured out a good way to use it with their blog it would make a great blog post!
